Every paper element of the sculpture begins as handmade paper, crafted through the beautiful and labour-intensive art of papermaking: forming the pulp, creating each sheet by hand, couching, and drying. Once the paper is ready, it is carefully folded into graceful swans and birds, a second, meticulous process. Each piece shaped with patience, attention, and love. The swans and birds seem to dance endlessly and are moved even by the gentlest whisper of wind. Perfect as a meaningful gift.
