Handmade paper sculpture - Birds & Swans

Each paper sculpture is a timeless piece. a soft imprint of presence to mark a beginning. Not a toy, not mass-produced, but a delicate treasure, inspired by the swans and birds of Lake Thun. Every paper element of the sculpture begins as handmade paper, crafted through the beautiful and labour-intensive art of papermaking: forming the pulp, creating each sheet by hand, couching, and drying. Once the paper is ready, it is carefully folded into graceful swans and birds, a second, meticulous process, each piece shaped with patience, attention, and love. The swans and birds seem to dance endlessly, moved even by the gentlest whisper of wind. The textured fibers catch the light, casting delicate shadows and creating a quiet, whispering movement, a subtle interplay of paper, light, and motion.
