A year in letters— a slow chronicle

Not a frantic journal, but a rhythm. Six letters, written over the course of a year - one every other month, like soft rings of growth in a tree.

You receive six sets of handmade paper and envelopes, each paired with a delicate prompt card (“This month you discovered...”, “What I hope you’ll remember...”). An invitation to pause every two months and write to your child, slowly, in your own time.

Over the span of a year, these letters become a quiet, tangible record of who they are becoming and who you are, alongside them.

Optional: add a session to one or more of the letters. A quiet portrait with your baby or child, held alongside your words. A growing archive, for you and your child.

1,5 hour relaxed session at your home or a location of your choice, incorporating the letters.
15 digital images
1 print on handmade paper
After your session, you'll receive a private online gallery where you can take your time selecting your favourite images. Once you've chosen your favourites, I'll share which photograph I think will translate most beautifully onto handmade paper. The texture and fibres of the paper interact differently with every image, so not every photograph works equally well. Ultimately, the choice is always yours.
